Apart from Covion's own dedicated SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) and compliance managers it can now call upon the expertise and resources of all Balfour Beatty Group companies to assist Covion in ensuring that it meets compliance and uses best practice. To this end Covion are committed to Balfour Beatty's Zero Harm Programme.To ensure that Covion meets these responsibilities site audits and health and safety tours/checks are undertaken by the SHEQ & compliance managers. Covion are committed to working with clients to enable them to fully comply with current legislation but also to inform and advise them on any new or revised legislation that could impact on their business.
Covion was accredited with ISO 9001:2000 in October 2003, this has been maintained through two reassessment visits, and our quality system meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9002 and the European Foundation for Quality Model (EFQM).
